2. Delphi 7 is the first version of Delphi to include support for XP Themes. Your example works correctly under Delphi 7. I searched Google and with older versions of Delphi there are known issues with some of the VCL controls when used with the new XP Themes controls. One of the issues involves TListView - which RB uses extensively. When I ran your test app against D5, it blew up on ListView related code. The following web page includes information on the ThemeManager that is included with Delphi 7. Perhaps you can get it to work with D5 or perhaps now is a great time to upgrade to Delphi 2005.
We are using ThemeManager for XP support in D5 and it works very nicely. We have TListViews in other parts of our app and have had no problems with them.
