Print Preview Plugin Architecture in RB7
I just found out, by accident, about the Print Preview Architecture in
RB7. Had I not been reading messages in this newsgroup, I would not
have known about this.
Is this change documented anywhere? I checked the Release.doc and Help
file for RB7 and I can't find any mention of this change.
In another post, Nico states:
"Instead of creating a form replacement for the preview window, you now
need to create a preview plugin."
We've been using a preview form replacement since RB5. We're still
using it, although we're now using RB7.03. It seems to still work
without problems. Is there a reason that we should stop using our
preview form replacement? It's been heavily customized over the years.
Thanks

Your old preview replacement should still work correctly. The plugin
architecture was added to make it possible to replace the stand alone
preview form as well as the preview tab in the end user designer with one
interface as well as make the process easier and a bit more elegant. If you
decide to make another custom preview form using RB 7, I would definitely
recommend using the newer method.
