Report for Optical recognition Folding machine
I want to use the optical mark reader feature of our folding machine.
I am printing a very big report each month (statements of account) for
all our customers. The report is usually more than 2500 page long.
I had to separate the single page customer statement to be able to feed
it in the folding machine. We are folding the multiple page customer
by hand.
The optical reader is able to decide if there is another page to fold
in the same enveloppe base on some marks on the report.
On my report, there is a group for my customer.
Here is my strategy: I would put the marks on the page style band (the
marks has to be exactly at the same place on each page) and change it
in the before print event. But how would I know that there will be
another page? Or better, that this is the last page of the
group?(Because there is a mark that says to stop grabbing paper for the
current enveloppe).
Using Delphi 7 with RB 7.03.

Try using one of the events tied to the GroupFooter band to determine when
the group is going to break. Perhaps the GroupFooterBand.BeforePrint event.
