Code being done if visible property set to false

I have created a report

it has a bunch of sub reports. this would be a detailed report

for a summary report I have set the sub reports visibilty to false.

but now the dbcalc values are being extrapolated. actually none of the
code executes. this code is being done on the before print. I tried
moving to the before generate. same results. code not executing.

Is there a way to make the the code still execute thru the traversal of the
records?

Nevermind

I can set the summary, detail, and title bands of the reports
visisibility to false instead of the subreport.
