German special characters
To translate the report components text (labels, etc.), I have created an
xml file with all the component names and corresponding text. To localize
the report, the text is changed to the appropriate text for that language.
At runtime, the xml file is read and the label text replaced by whatever is
in the file. I have run into an issue with the German translation and
special characters. For example, the German character ? shows incorrectly on
the reports. I have the report language set to German. I have also tried
changing the xml encoding type to ISO-8859-1 without any affect. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

We do not have any known issues with the printing of German characters in
ReportBuilder. Are you able to print the "?" character successfully if you
manually insert it into the caption property of a TppLabel? In my quick
testing, this seemed to preview and print correctly.
