memo stretching past detail band

I have memo in a detail band..
Stretch = True
Wordwrap = True

It prints what would normally fit in the detail band then when it stretches
it prints the remainder in the group footer. It appears the detail band is
failing to stretch with the memo. Do I have to use a region?

Hi Preston,

Is your detail band's PrintHeight set to phDynamic? Even if it isn't the
memo should not be crossing into the group footer. If you place a shape
inside the group footer with the ParentWidth and ParentHeight set to True
does the memo overlap that shape? Which version of ReportBuilder/Delphi are
you using?

Ok I figured it out.

There was a line at the bottom of the detail band (hard to see) whose
stretch with parent property was set to false. When the report printed the
line was the visual separator between the detail band and the footer, but
not the actual boundary.
