Inifinite report
Hi,
I'm using RB 7.04. I am having a problem w/one of my reports printing
infinite amount of pages when I preview the report to the screen. My report
header contains 5 regions followed by a subreport. Each region is set to
shift relative to the one before it and the subreport is set to shift
relative to the last region. When the subreport has enough data in it to go
to the second page (I belive), it starts prining an infinite amount of blank
pages at preview.
After doing some digging and playing around with the settings I figured out
that if I don't make the subreport shift relative to the region then
everything prints out fine (prints in 2 pages), but unfortunately I have to
have the subreport shift relative to the region.
How can I fix this problem? I read that whole article on tech tips,
but it doesn't give many answers.
Thanks,
Yelena

I am unable to recreate this on my machine. If possible, please send a
small example of this behavior to support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip
format and I'll take a look at it for you.

I sent you an example. Were you able to see the problem?
Thanks,
Yelena
Thanks for the example. However, this is a fairly complex report. After
taking a look at your design, I do not see anything that would cause this
behavior, but it would be much easier to work with if I could see a working
version of the report on my machine. If possible, please send me a working
application that can execute this report or a simplified app that
demonstrates the same behavior.
