Formstyle of the Designer

edited April 2005 in General
Hi,

Is there some other way to make the Desiger a part of my application other
than using the formstyle (fsMdiChild)?
I want to assign the form to a Page in a PageControl.

Thanks

    Hi Peter,

Unfortunately this is not possible with the version of the designer you are
using. For RB 9, the designer toolbars were redesigned and it could be a
possibility that it could be placed on a panel, but this has not been
tested. Either way, implementing this would not be an easy task due to the
timing requirements of the numerous parts of the report designer.

Thanks Nico, can live with that...

Now that I'v got your attention, I have been getting an error when trying to
run an application where I'm showing the Designer. The Error is:
EOSError.... Error 1411, The class does not exist.

Is this related to the Designer, or perhaps the way I,m showing it, or is it
a fault in my IDE ?

To show teh Designer, I simply call "ppDesigner.Show"

    Thanks Petter

    Hi Petter,

This may be related to the designer however we have made numerous changes to
the designer since RB 7.04. Please download a trial copy of RB 9.02 and see
if the the problem still exists.
