RichText Problem

We are using RB 7.04 with D7 and we need to print a richText over a
picture.On preview it seems to be OK ,
but when we print the report it does not work.(richtext is not transparent).
We know that the richtext is not transparent in the version of RB we are
using and we don't want to merge the picture in the richtext.
Is there a workaround for this problem? If not,is there (or will be) a
version of RB that fixes this problem

Hi,

I believe the Transparent property is available for the RichText component
in RB 7.04, however this is probably a printer issue you are experiencing.
In the past, we have noticed that many printers simply do not handle
transparency very well (or at all). My suggestion would be to be sure you
are using the latest printer driver for the printer you are using, or
perhaps try printing to a different printer altogether. We did make a few
changes to the RichText component for the latest release of ReportBuilder
(9.02) so it might be worthwhile to download a trial copy of that and see if
it fixes the problem.
