PageStyle problems

edited April 2005 in General
I am working on a report which I have a pagestyle that consumes the
entire width and height of the page. Inside the pagestyle, I have two
subreports that are set to section and transverse data. The data
appears as it should, but the other items on the pagestyle only appear
on the first page. I am trying to create a payable check that has
register, check, register. I only have room for 11 items on the check,
so I would like to create another check once the item limit has been
reached. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using D7 and RB 9.02.

Thanks,
Nick

    Hi Nick,

The PageStyle is meant to act as a static page background band used for
static lines in a form or water marks. Placing Section style subreports in
the PageStyle is probably the reason you are not seeing the correct
components. Section subreports were designed to be used to join multiple
existing reports together in one single report and by default start a new
page when they start to print. If it is necessary to use subreports, I
would suggest using Fixed subreports inside the Detail band of your report
with all the static drawings and lines needed for a check in the pagestyle.
Take a look at an example I created for another customer that does something
    similar...
