RB & TeeChart 7.04 : ppTeeChartControl invalid property path

We upgraded our component sets to RB 7.04 and TeeChart Pro 7.04.

Both were previously on 7.x, what versions I am not sure.

The project compiles ok, but when you try and open some report forms
they won't open with the message : error reading
ppTeeChartControl1.Title.Text.String invalid property path. If you
ignore that it moves onto Title.Visible and the BottomAxis property.

I do not know if this is a RB problem or a TeeChart problem, I am
posting here first.

Has anyone come across this?

Hi Tom,

RB 7.04 and TeeChart 7.04 are not compatable (see the ReportBuilder
Reference | TeeChart section in the rbuilder.hlp file). ReportBuilder 9.02
for Delphi 7 and Delphi 2005 are fully compatable with the latest release of
TeeChart Pro (version 7.04).

We are testing upgrading to RB9 on a machine but have compatibility
problems with TExtraDevices / Indy & TWGrid, so we are not ready to move
over. Do you know off hand which one we could role back to a prev
version for them to be compatible?

Can find no metion of incompatibility with TeeChart 7.04.

Hi Tom,

ReportBuilder 7.04 for Delphi 7 supported TeeChart Pro versions 7.0, 6.01,
and 5.03.
