I cannot assign dataset to the TppDPTeeChart: I tried to link the datasoource/dataset but the Dataset dropdown listbox is empty after I chose Series|DataSource|DataSet ?

You will need to use a version of TeeChart greater than the one that comes free with Delphi to get this functionality. Please see the RB/TeeChart help in the ReportBuilder Reference | TeeChart | Delphi X |.... section for more information on which versions of TeeChart are compatable with your version of ReportBuilder and have certian functionality.
