problems with EPSON STYLUS COLOR 850

Hi,

when an Epson Stylus Color 850 is the default printer (on W2000 pro
computer), my report does not print (and not preview) the second column of a
report (I use RB7.02 with Delphi 6).
This report has 3 columns, the 3 sames for me (the 3 fields of a request,
printed with the same font...). Only the 1st and 3rd are printed... If I
install a HP Laserjet 6 driver, for instance, and launch the same report, it
works fine.

I tried it with the same database on another computer (epson epl 6200
printer) : it works fine. If I install Epson Stylus Color 850 driver on this
computer, it does not work anymore...

How can I solve this for my customer (I already installed the latests
drivers... for no result !) ?

Hello,

ReportBuilder uses the same Windows API commands to talk to every printer
driver it tries to print to therefor having no real contact with the actual
printer driver that you are using. If you are able to print to different
printers, this is most likely a printer driver problem, not a ReportBuilder
one. I would suggest contacting the creator of your printer driver and
finding out if this is a common problem.

ReportBuilder => Windows API => Printer Driver => Printer
