Newpage event

Hi

I have a report where i need to know when a new page has started so that i
can include a field in the detail band. However the 'OnStartPage' event (of
either the report or the subreport) is fired after the first row of the new
page is displayed which means when i check the global flag set in the
'OnStartPage' event, the field i want on the first row on the new page is
displayed on the second row.

How can i tell if a new page is going to be thrown before the first row is
displayed to the report?

Hi George,

In my testing with a simple report, the OnStartPage seems to fire before the
page is started. You may however try checking the Band.OutOfSpace property
to determine when a page break will occure.
