RB Crosstab features
Hi,
I'm having troubles with the crosstab feature of RB. With its
capabilities, its future etc.
I would like to know if DM is interested in investing in it so that it
would become a really useful tool other than being a crippled 'this is
what we developed to show a start point to do crosstab reports, there is
the code, you can further dig into it'.
My customers are really pushing me with many reports with crosstab
features and I feel a bit narrowed down with the current capabilities
(both design and runtime) of this component. I have been using RB since
version 3.52 and, put aside this crosstab, I'm really satisfied with it.
But I have unfortunately seen the crosstab demo of an other tool (I'm
not naming it at the moment, my intensions are not to adv for another
tool, but I can give away the name is asked for) and now I'm really
dissappointed with RB's crosstab.
I'm also wondering what other users of RB are doing at the moment.

Thanks for the feedback. The crosstab component is definitely something we
would like to improve upon in a later release. All your suggestions are
more than welcome.
As a side note, you may want to check out a thrid party add-on named Grid
Pack by William Yu. This add-on includes a more advanced cross tab
component that may suit your needs as well as some other impressive objects.
