Variables / New install of Enterprise

edited August 2005 in General
I have an issue here that I'm trying to find a workaround for.

Is there any way to create an RTM file, in the Enterprise version, with a
variable that uses the calc tab to calculate the field, to work on a system
that was compiled with the Pro version?

Basically the program was compiled with Pro, but I need just 1 variable to
do a divide on 2 fields without any delphi code behind it.

noy. Sounds like you need scripting but don't want to upgrade to Enterprise.

Actually we are going to upgrade to version 9 Enterprise regardless, but we
are not shipping a new version of our product for another couple months, and
the scripting would be very nice beforehand.

We created an app that reads SQL and a bunch of info from an INI file, and
we create a report in reportbuilder, but cannot use variables at all. We
were not aware that enterprise had scripting until a couple weeks ago, which
is why we want to upgrade, but we wanted a quick solution, which I'm
    guessing cannot happen.
