Problems with Teechart 7.04

Hi guys,

Let me explain the situation I have first.
We bought and installed RB 9.02 first. Then we decided we needed Teechart
Support for our End-User application and we bought the latest Teechart
Pro(VCL) v 7.04. After installing Teechart I had to re-install RB to make it
work with the latest Teechart. But after adding ppChrtUI in uses clause I
had error message "[Fatal Error] ReportExplorerFrm.pas(23): Unit ppChrtUI
was compiled with a different version of
Chart.TCustomChart.CalcClickedPart". I uninstalled RB once again using
custom option and guidline from your tech tips. But it did not help

Any ideas how to get around this problem ?

Hi Dmitry,

1. Be sure your library path is pointed to the correct TeeChart 7.04 files.

2. Try changing your library path from \RBuilder\Lib\... to
\RBuilder\Source\ and re-compile your application. This should create a new
.dcu file you can use when running TeeChart and ReportBuilder
simultaneously. If you would like, you can then copy the newly created .dcu
files to the \Lib folder and change your library path back.
