TppArchiveReader - rb7.04
Hi all,
Is there some secret way of freeing up the Archive File when using this
component. My app copies a retained archive to a temp folder, opens it in
the archiver and then deletes the temp file. Problem is, the temp file
doesn't get deleted, presumably because it's handle is retained by the
TppArchiveReader. Next time in the session the user tries to read a
different archive it creates errors.
I've tried .Reset and .ResetDevices. Am I missing something obvious?

In my testing with RB 9.02, I was unable to recreate the issue you were
having. Please download a trial version of RB 9.02 for Delphi 7 and test
your app with that. If this does not fix the problem, please send a small
example demonstrating the problem in .zip format to
support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.
