Ver6 Canvas Does Not Allow Drawing

Hello All:

I am using ReportBuilder 6.01/Delphi 5 over Terminal Services and
getting intermittent and sometimes constant error messages "Canvas Does Not
Allow Drawing".

Upon doing some research I have found the following info:

1) Caused when ReportBuilder cannot get a handle on a valid printer

2) Caused when user does not have proper rights to the printer

Due to some problems with terminal services, there may be no valid
printer available in the session (Terminal Services client 5.2... tends to
leave printer drivers from previous sessions when not closed down properly).

I need some suggestions as to how to resolve this.

My belief is that cause 1 above is the problem - if I set the default
printer to "Screen" - will this stop cause #1 ???

I am planning on upgrading our version to 9 soon - however, logistics
will prevent us from deploying version 9 for a few months.
