Problem with ppTextPipeLine

ppTextPipeLine1.FileType = ftComma, the following record has 4 fields
1 2 3 4 Fields
JORGE,17/01/1985,1.500,$25.000.32
why do i see 8 fields in report?
it seems like the decimal and thousand separator was another field.

Try placing your numerical records in quotes. This will prevent the text
pipeline from using the thousandths separator as a field delimeter.
