Mailing labels & DBBarCode

I want to print mailing labels of 2 centimeters of width with a DBBarCode
inside
but I reduce the width of the component DBBarCode, but when I send to print
or preview my report
the Bar code exceds the 2 centimeters of the width of the my mailing label.

The length of my field is 16 characters

I'm using DBBarCode with type Code39

I try to change the property dbbarcode.AutoSize= False; but did not work.
I modfy the other properties that apears in the configuration of the
dbbarcode; but did not work.

Note: With a mailing label of 4 centimeters it fit well; but the problem is
that my client
wants one mailing label really small.

Is there any way to do it?

Hi Jairzinhio,

This may be a limitation of the barcode you are using. Most barcodes need
to have the same proportion lines to be successfully read by a barcode
reader. Try adjusting the Bar Width and Wide Bar Ratio in the configuration
dialog of the DBBarCode component and see if you can shrink the barcodes you
are printing.
