I am currently on version 7.04. What is the latest version of Report Builder out there and what is the roadmap for any future releases. I am on Delphi 7.
The current release of ReportBuilder is 9.03. RB 9.03 is available for Delphi 2005, Delphi 7, and Delphi 6. There is no official "roadmap" for future releses of ReportBuilder however we welcome any suggestions you might have about the product and will consider them for a later release.
May I suggest an option to align text within a text field vertically. (ie, alTop, alMiddle, or alBottom). At the moment, I believe it only works from the top down.
Also, is their a way presently, to specify that the default papersize should be that other than Letter? (ie, I would like to have it set to A4 everytime by default).
Unfortunately there is currently not a way to define the default paper size. ReportBuilder looks at your regional settings (i.e. the DecimalSeparator) to determine which paper size to set as the default. We will consider enhancing this for a later release.
Unfortuantly, we (in Australia) must have the same regional settings as the US as far as DecimalSeparator goes. Instead of giving us the option to choose the default, would it be easier to change what regional settings RB looks at, when determining the default. (ie, instead of decimalseperator, maybe look at country?)
