Missing checkbox in component palette
Hi there: after updating to 9.03 suddenly I'm missing the TppCheckBox
component which I'm sure was (or musta have been) available in the previous
install.
I *vaguely* remember having to do something to include it in the palette,
but it doesn't appear now in the current report designer.
I would dearly like to make use of it (the checkbox) and would appreciate
some pointers as to where I'm going wrong. If I try to install it throught
the .dpk in the relevant DEMO folder I get compaints about the package
already being installed - and on checking through the installed components
the package *is* installed but contains no components.
Can somebody help me out here or at least impart the magic words?
cheers - David

The CheckBox entry in your installed components list should be
"ReportBuilder Sample Components" and should point to the
\RBuilder\Lib\dclRBU9x.bpl file. If this entry is present, be sure the file
is correct. You might try unchecking the component and removing it from the
list, then re-adding it. This may fix the issue. If not, try removing it
and re-compiling and re-installing the packages located in the
\RBuilder\Demos\RCL directory.

This does not answer your question but just wanted to say Hi as I believe
you helped me out with some IntraWeb issues in the past.
Hope things are going OK for you.
Sorry for posting this kind of posting but had lost contact so could not
resist to say Hi.
Sorry to everyone else
Mark
sound like the proverbial whinge but I had actually done a recompile of the
RCL package without success (therefore the bleat for assistance). I just
did it again and whaddya think? those missing babies were both present and
correct!
Just one of those things? I *know* they weren't there on a clean install
('cos I checked), and I know they weren't there after a forced recompile.
But they're there now so thanks for the support.
Maybe I should hit the key harder next time. Hey there Mark, good
to hear from you - I'll mail you pvtly and swamp you with news.
cheers - David
