Problem with sub reports

edited November 2005 in General
Hello

I have a report with the following layout

Sub Report 1
Sub Report 2
Sub Report 3

I want sub report 3 to come up straight after sub report 2 on the same page.
How do I do this?

If I set subreport 3's style to child the server puts a blank page at the
start

I cant put sub report 3 inside of subreport 2 because i only want the table
that it contains to appear once, and it cant go into the footer as it will
be too low

My table that is in sub report 3 is only going to have 1 row

Cheers

Paul

    Hi Paul,

What are the styles of Subreport 1 and 2. If these are section style
subreports, they will by default take their own page to generate. If there
are all child style subreports with KeepTogether set to False, they should
print in sequential order without breaking a page (depending on the
keeptogether groups and regions you may have inside the subreports.

    Hi Paul,

Section Subreports by definition will break a page before and after they
have generated without exception. If you would like your third subreport to
start printing directly after your second one finishes, you will either need
to make it a Child Subreport, or add the third subreport to the second
subreport's design. One method you may explor is adding both Subreport 2
and Subreport 3 (as Child Subreports) to another Section Subreport which
    prints after subreport 1.
