section subreport blank page

edited November 2005 in General
Hi,

I've got a little problem with my report.
I keep getting a blank page at the end of my main group.
The structure of my report can be seen at
http://users.skynet.be/frisk/report.JPG
The main report consists of a group. For every person in the dataset, a
report needs to be made.
The detail of this group should contain 2 subreports.
I used a section subreport on the main report that contains these 2
subreports, because I want the detail of the main group to start at a new
page.
So the section subreport contains 2 child reports, which show the data they
need to show for every individual.
The problem is that at the end of every person's report, I get a blank page.

Should I let go of the "section" subreport, and put the two child reports in
the detail of my main report?
If so, how can I do this, knowing I want the first child report to start at
a new page?
I have reportbuilder 7.0.1; so I don't have a page break element.

Thanks,
Tom De Waele

    Hi Tom,

Section subreports are generally meant to be used to merge multiple reports
together in one. When groups and other bands other than the detail band are
added into the mix, problems start to arise. If each person in the dataset
has their own group, you could try setting the TppGroup.NewPage property to
True preventing the need for the Section subreport at all.
