ppLabel & ppDBLabel not working properly

Hi,

Autosize is not working when angle <> 0 or am I missing something? I'm
also disapointed that wordwrap is not working on angles.

Hi Lars,


This is not a known issue with the rotated text feature. I am also unable
to recreate any problems dealing with autosize and rotated text. Perhaps a
little more explaination of what you are doing in your repor that causes the
error would help me find the problem.


Unfortunately angles are not currently supported for wrapped text enabled
components.

Hi Nico,

I'm working on article labels. I'm not doing anything out of the
ordinary AFAIK. In design-time autosize is working, but not when I run
the report.

Hi Lars,

Unfortuately I am still unable to recreate the problem. I've created an
example connected to the Customer table of the DBDEMOS database and placed a
DBText inside my detail band connected to the CompanyName field with
AutoSize set to True and Angle set to 30 degrees. This seems to print fine.
How can I recreate the problem on my machine?

Hi Nico,

The problem I have with autosize is when it's set to false. The labels
are autosizing even if autosize is set to false. Sorry about the
confusion.

Hi Lars,

Thanks for the clarification. This is currently a limitation of the rotated
text feature for DBText components. As a work-around, you could limit your
DBText components to a certain number of characters inside the OnGetText
event.
