No preview before Cancel clicked
Hi there,
I created a very simple report, no sub reports or bands other than a Header,
a Detail, and a Footer.
When I preview it either at design time or run time the report page remains
blank until I click Cancel, and it appears.
Now the only difference at runtime is that the status line shows
"Calculating page 1 for report Report".
Any ideas anyone, is this simply a corrupt report that just needs
re-creating? If so what corrupts it?
oh yes btw I am using Delphi 7 with RBuilder Pro version 7.04

Usually this behavior means there is something overflowing outside the
boundaries of the page and the engine is getting confused. Be sure all your
components and bands are within the page boundaries. If this is a simple
report as you described, you may want to try to recreate it (testing
periodically) to find out which object or band is causing the problem.
