MYSQL currency field

I have converted one of my apps to MYSql from Paradox tables.

The 'Total' field was currency in paradox
The 'Total' field is now currency with decimals set to 2.

If the amount is ?20.34 the report prints ?20.34
If the amount is ?20 the report prints ?20

How do I make it print ?20.00?

Is this a field type error or something I can fix in a report

Right click over the control and select 'display properties'.
