Previewing report

edited February 2006 in General
How can i know when the user is viewing the report from the outside,
meaning right-clicking at the report and opening it, or if the user is
viewing from the inside, meaning the user is developing the report, and used
the previewing report thing (without even saving the report) ?

    Hi Marcelo,

Sorry, I'm a bit unclear about where your users are loading their reports.
If for instance you are using the Report Explorer, the user can right click
over a report and either open the report in the designer or preview the
report in the previewer. Are you trying to determine which one the user
selects? Different events are fired for each selection, for instance the
TppDesigner.OnShow event is fired if the designer is loaded.
