How to make the TppBarCode component work?

Please, I need your help.
I'm using the component TppBarCode and I can't change its Data property
either in design time and runtime. Its BarCodeType is set to bcEAN_13. I
know that is in the Data property that we specify the value for the bar
code, but it really doesn't let me change it. Can someone help me,
please?

    Hi Marcos,

    Which version of ReportBuilder are you using? In my testing with RB 10 and
    Delphi 7, the EAN 13 barcode seemed to work correctly. Note that this
    barcode requires 12 or 13 digits in the data field in order to render
    correctly.

    My friend, I'm sorry to have bothered you. The bar code is working well.
    I was just placing the change to the Data property in a line that was
    not being reached in the code.
