RB 10 does not free allocate memory. Bug?
Hi
It looks like RB10 does not free memory resources after closing a report in
preview mode.
You can try that behaviour e.g. with the demo "..\RBuilder\Demos\3.
EndUser\1. Report Explorer\Enduser.dpr".
Open the taskmanager or something else to control the memory allocation. Now
run a large report (two pass mode) in preview mode and close the preview
window. Now you can see that the memory is still allocate.
Can you fix that? When doing the same with RB 9.03 all works perfectly. That
means RB gives the memory free after closing a report in preview mode.

Robert

Unfortunately the Windows Task Manager is not a very reliable way to monitor
memory usage. Are you able to confirm this with an actual memory manager?
Which version of Delphi are you using to test with?
