Printin9 on a pos printer a form that is 0.5 inch Height

On dot matrix printer I want to print a little form of 0.5 inch height. The
paper size is 0.5 inch I tried 2 things
1) a report with only a title that is 0.5 inch tall. This didn't work
because each form add an additional inch so I don't have my 0.5 inch tall
form.
2) print the form on the detail band. This cause a loop that I know is
related to the footer header size. This form don't have header ofr footer.

Is there a way to print what I want?

For the layout, try something like this..

- create a new report
- remove the header and footer
- set detail band height to 0.5 inch
- set margins to 0

Some issues that you may encounter

- some printers will not allow a paper size that small. (see Printer thread
of Tech Tips newsgroup for an article on Troubleshooting Custom Paper Sizes)
- some printers have an unprintable area (they cannot print on the very
edges of the page). A quarter inch border around the page is typical
