knowing when a group footer will print

edited March 2006 in General
hi;

is there a way to know if a group footer is about to print to ajust the
band's height before?

let me clarify that, i have a report with 3 groups each wich its own header
and footer, i need to ajust the group's footer bands height, if only 1 or 2
of them prints. So if the group 3's footer does not print, i need to ajust
group footer 2's height; if group 2's footer does not print, i need to ajust
group footer 1's height.

I hope that is clear.

TIA

    Hi,

    I'm still a bit unclear about what you would like to accomplish. How are
    you preventing a group footer from printing? Are you simply setting all the
    objects inside the band Visible to False? Your best option for discovering
    if a group will contain records is to analyze the data before ReportBuilder
    generates the report, then alter the size of the group header before hand.
