crosstab problem...

edited March 2006 in General
hi..i have two crosstab components in my report, in the same band..their
properties are exactly the same..only difference is that the second one is
in a region and this region shifts relative to the first crosstab
vertically.and region's "KeepTogether" property is true..they are connected
to the same datapipeline..when two crosstabs fit in the same page, there is
no problem..if their height get bigger and the region which includes the
second crosstab jumps to the second page again there is no problem.but for
the first time i call report.print(having made some changes to the
datasource) after this multipage situation, the first crosstab is updated
with the new data, but the second one is not updated(still same).after this
i call report.print again(second time) without any change to the datasource
and this time everything is how they should be..what is going on here ?...
:)

    Hi,

You mention that you are changing the dataset? When are you making these
changes? Have you tried connecting each crosstab to different
    datapipelines?

dataset's records are changing, normal process..but the change in the
records does not reflect to crosstab every time when it is on the second
    page..for example: i have a query : "select tab.a from tab where tab.b = x",
and i have a datasource connected to this query and a pipeline connected to
this datasource...the only change i make on the query is changing value of
x..and resulting record set is listed by the first crosstab every time, but
the second one, which is on the second page, is sometimes being updated
according to the new data, but sometimes don't..it is probabilistic which is
not good :(...by the way i tried using differrent pipelines for each
    crosstab but the problem remains..

Which version of ReportBuilder/Delphi are you using? If possible, please
send a small example demonstrating this behavior that I can run on my
machine in .zip format to support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look
    at it for you.
