Changes on sending to printer
Hi.
I am having some problems with one client.
Well, I have a report that prints OK here and when my client tries to
print it is printed oversized.
Let me be more specific. The report appears normally on the screen, but
when it sends to the printer it prints everything bigger (images, texts,
lines). By bigger I mean the width.
I think it is some printer related config since it runs OK in my office.
What I need to know is how to investigate this issue. What kind of config
could interfere in this.
Thank you
Ricardo

What type of printer is your client using? The only thing I can think of is
that perhaps it has some sort of page scaling option in the driver software.
If you let me know the name of the printer, I will download the driver and
investigate possible causes.

Thanks for the info. I took a look at the HP-PSC 500 manual on line and it
looks like this is a all-in-one printer, scanner, copier. Looking at the
print opitons for the driver, I could not see anything that could be causing
this behavior, however there is an AutoFit option and a "reduce/enlarge"
button for the copier. My guess is that the options set for the copier are
affecting the printed output for some reason. I would recommend taking a
look a the manual with your client and perhaps setting it back to the
factory default configuration to see if that helps. The manual can be
downloaded from the following address.
