Helpsystem in D2006 stil crashed

I have similar problem as Robert in post 2 month ago: after installing RB 10
Trial my help system in D2006 has beed destroyed. I have tried everything
from reghelp -7 a reghelp 7 to manually remove HM Help 2 system and install
it again with .NET Framework SDK package. The result - help is still
unusable.

Any solution ? As I pretty sure RB is the culprit (it happened on my desktop
and notebook) I think guys from Digital Metaphors should come up with some
solution ...

    Hi Jan,

    I apologize for the issues you have been having with the ReportBuilder help.
    Unfortunately the Microsoft Help2 system is very difficult to work with and
    in my opinion, very poorly designed. However in all cases I managed to
    restore my help system to a usable state.

    Your first goal is to try to restore your help system back to its original
    state before RB was installed by following these steps...

    1. Unmerge the RB help using the RBInstallHelper application. This includes
    unmerging the RBuilder, RAP, and Server help if you have it installed.
    2. Run reghelp 7. This should restore the Borland namespace to its
    original state.

    If the above steps do not help, you will need to first run reghelp -7, then
    reinstall your help 2 system by reinstalling a Microsoft product such as the
    .NET Framework SDK. This has always been a final resort for me and in one
    case I was forced to re-install Delphi 2006 as well.

    While I don't have a solution for you, I would like to comment that this
    issue is not necessarily a Digital Metaphors/ReportBuilder problem. I've
    had the D2006 help system crash on my twice and ended up having to do the
    manual rebuild of the help files. In both instances, the components being
    installed were from two different companies and RB was not even installed at
    the time. When I finally did install RB, the help file system was just fine
    after the install.

    So while your help may happen to get corrupted when installing RB, it's most
    likely not RB's fault and there may not be anything that they can do about
    it.
