TppDBMemo problem with long text

Hi, I have a TppDBMemo in my report, the width is fixed, both CharWrap and
Stretch are set to true. When printing, some long text that should have
wrapped to the next line in the memo field kept going and overlapped the
next column. The strange thing is this doesn't happen to all such text, some
are fine (wrapped correctly), but some are not. They are all text and all
come from the same field, no manipulation done on the text itself, just
displaying it. I'm using RB 7.01 and Delphi 7. Please advice. Thank you.

Hi Bill,

In my testing with RB 10.02 and Delphi 7, I am unable to create this
behavior. My suggestion would be to first try updating your version of RB
to 7.04 (contact info@digital-metaphors.com with your serial number). If
this does not help try downloading a trial edition of RB 10.02 and seeing if
the problem still exists.

I installed RB 7.04, but now whenever I start Delphi 7 or any of my reports,
I run into a bunch of errors. Something about procedure entry point could
not be located in dll rbRCL77.bpl. I think it's because I'm using the
TExtraDev component. Do I need to upgrade TExtraDev too for RB 7.04?

Hi Bill,

I am not sure if you need to upgrade your version of TExtraDevice for use
with RB 7.04 however you will need to recompile and install the
TExtraDevices packages in order for it to run correctly. You might want to
contact Waler to be certain about the upgrade.

Thanks, I contacted Waler and waiting for their reply.

I recompiled and re-installed the TExtraDevices package but I'm still
getting an access vilolation (some kind of memory read error) when I try to
run the reports.

The other thing I noticed is that the upgrade instruction said that some
kind of conversion process will run and will convert the report to 7.04, but
when I openned my report, nothing happened. The reports are embedded in the
form (not rtm files). My previous RB version was 7.01. Is that right?

Hi Bill,

The conversion from RB 7.01 to RB 7.04 would not be drastic if any. There
are usually not many template altering changes between maintenance releases.
