non-data reports
Hi,
In version 7, you could create a report that wasn't data-related. This was
useful for clients who used their report explorer to store and print blank
forms for data entry.
We skipped version 9 and went straight to version 10.02, and I've noticed
that non-data reports don't seem possible -- endless pages are generated if
you merely put labels and shapes in the designer. Is there a trick to this
or is it no longer possible to create such "reports"?

This should be possible. By default, when you create a new report, the
Report.AutoStop property should be True. This prevents an endless page
report if there is no data connected. Once a datasource is connected to the
report, the AutoStop property is automatically set to True. If for instance
your no-data report was once connected to a datapipeline, you could be
seeing this behavior. Be sure the AutoStop property is set to True.
