Citrix and Canon??
Hi,
I have an app that has been working OK. I recently upgraded to D 2006 and RB
10.03. All worked OK now for several weeks.
My end users in Europe upgraded some of their printers this weekend to
Canon.
Now my app does not work through Citrix. They say that it does not even
load. I double checked and all of my database connections are off and all of
my reports print to screen.
If they change the default printer back to an older printer all works OK.
Weird problem. The IT claims they have installed the latest printer drivers
for the Canon printers.
Why would the program not even load? If there is a driver problem, I would
think it would occur when a report is printed, not a load time???
I also have a PsRBExportExcel component. It's state is Active = false. Could
this be messing things up at program load??
Any ides would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Austin

In the past, most problems dealing with Citrix were due to the fact that the
user did not have proper access to the printer driver they were using.
Since this is a new printer, perhaps the printer driver was not given full
access rights to its users.

Thanks, I'll pass this info on.
I have not received a reply from the PsRBExportExcel folks yet. Do you know
if they are trying to access the printer driver at program load time.I have
their active property set to false.
Thanks,
