Convert RTMs to Ver 10.03

edited June 2006 in General
I just upgraded from version 7.04 to 10.03 and read in the release notes
that reports have to be converted. For RTMs, it asks us to load the RTM into
the designer and save it. But how do we convert RTMs that we have
distributed so far to our customers. They don't have Report builder at their
end. Moreover, I use the offset area to save some stuff. I hope it does not
mess that up. So is there a routine in the new RB that we can call for each
RTM and get it converted without opening it in the designer?

Thanks
Vikram

We just advise to load and save so that the reports will be saved with the
    new properties.

RB 10.x can load and run your RB 7.x. It will work fine with the offset
area. And your end-users will be able to load and run their reports to.

When a Report is saved using RB 10.x, it will be saved with some new
    properties introduced since RB 7.x.

    Thanks, that's great to know.

So, even if I don't save it with the new versions, RTMs created with older
    versions should work fine.
Also, just calling Template.Save in the new version should convert it,
    correct?

    Thanks,
