infinite printing

edited June 2006 in General
I am using Delphi 7 and RB 7.01 to print a very simple address label: no
subreports, no stretching components.
I am printing to a DYMO labelwriter 400, I was using 99012 Large Address
labels (88 mm wide, 36 mm high), and had no problems. Now I am changing
to 99014 Shipping labels (101 mm wide, 54 mm high). The correct sizes
are shown in the printer setup. As long as the detail band is 36.000 mm
or less, there is no problem, when I set the height of the detail band
to 36.001 mm (or any size above that), I get an infinite series of blank
labels. I know this may happen when the detail band is larger than the
paper size, so it seems that still the old format is being used.
What could the cause of this be?

Thanks,
Gerrit

    Some more info.
When I change PrintHeight fro the detail band from static to dynamic, it
does print, but the text starts about 2 cm below the top of the label,
and a second label is used for the last part of the text. On the second
label, pinting also starts a few cm below the top. On the preview, the
text starts at the top on both pages. Header and footer band have size
    0. Comments would still be helpful.

Sorry, my own fault. I set the new paper name in the designer, but
forgot that I set the old paper name at runtime.
