Replace Text on mailmerge
Its me Again..
Im using Delphi 7 and ReportBuilder 10.02. Im using the reportbuilder
mailmerge feature in the richtext. i have used stringreplace to change a
specific value from the richtext like this one
stringreplace(RTXTbiblio.richtext , '[BKATHR]', 'AC NEWTON',
[rfIgnoreCase]);
somehow it work on the first record . but on the remaining records the
value from the first record was retained eventhough it must not.
my question is that is there any other way in reportbuilder to replace a
specific text on the richtext's richtext property or something.
thanks and sorry for my english. hope u understand my explanation

I have the same problem. See my posting of 16 november 2005 "Custom
MailMerge". The posting continued by e-mail stating that a new event should
be added by DM that could be used for custom mailmerge. Nico agreed and
marked it as a possible enhancement for a later release.
Maybe its prio will increase if more people see the need for this.

Just thought I'd add my two cents here. While I'm not currently using
RB's mail merge functionality, I will be later in the year when my team
rewrites a project to use it. When that time comes, I will definitely
need this ability.
So - add another user to the list!

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into possibly adding this for a later
release.
