Alignment Problems on different printers
Hi All,
I know that printers print differently and that alignments might be slightly
out, but I have a report that prints on Printed Stationary and I cannot seem
to get it working.
When I print on a toshiba it is about a lines spacing different to when I
print on an HP.
I am using D7 and RB 10.04.
Any suggessions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

ReportBuilder does not communicate with the printer directly. It uses
generic Windows API commands which in turn communicate with the printer
driver. It is up to the printer driver to properly execute these API
commands.
ReportBuilder ==> Windows API ==> Printer Driver ==> Printer
Check the built-in printer settings of each printer/driver to be sure there
is nothing that could be causing this (margins, printable area, gutters,
etc.). Be sure you are using the latest printer driver for each printer.

Thanks for the update. What happened was, we moved from RB 7 - RB 10 and
that is when we noticed the problem.
It worked ok in 7 but since we have been using 10 we have had the problem.
Thanks for your response though it is much appreciated.
This is not a known issue with RB 10. Are you able to see the difference on
screen when the default printer is set to each printer respectivly? If so,
let me know the exact printers you are using and the steps I can take to
recreate the behavior here on my machine.

I'll have a play and see what I can do.
I think it might have sometyhing to do with how the layout was changed
originally.
Thanks for the help
