show designer window maximized

edited December 2006 in General
Hi!

I'm using RBuilder Pro 10.04 and Delphi 7

I'm trying to show the Designer window maximized by default, but I can't. It
always shows resized to the values "left, right..."
I have tried with an empty project and occurs the same. How can I fix it?

And another question...
How can I hide the "Report Tree" panel by default?

Thanks!

    Hi Santy,

These properties are obtained from the RBuilder.ini file located in your
\Windows\.. directory. Deleting this file will enable these properties to
    carry through.

    Hi, Nico...

I'm testing the application on new computers where only my app is installed,
so there isn't any RBuilder.ini file on Windows directory.
I have installed it again. Previously I deleted any registry reference to
the "RBuilde Storage Settings" and searched for any RBuilder.ini file on the
    hard disk (there wasn't any).

I launched my app and the designer window is showed not maximized, but
    resized to a smaller size.

    What can I do?

PS: How can I hide the "Report Tree" panel by default? Have I to modify the
    ini/registry?

    Thanks!

    Hi, Nico..

I have noticed that if I create the Designer component at runtime, the
"maximized" property is ignored, but if I drop a Designer component on the
form, then it work fine. Maybe this is the cause of the problem?

    Hi Luis,

Thanks for the info. There is now a patch available for RB 10.04 that fixes
this issue. Please send a small email to support@digital-metaphors.com
requesting the patch if you are interested.
