Hi,

After migration from Delphi 4, Report Builder 5.05 to
Delphi 7, Report Builder 7 the reports are running very slowly 3-4 times.
Database for report is ALS 7.1

Could you please tell me what the cause of poor performance could be ?

Hi Achot,

This is not a known issue. There are many items that can contribute to slow
performance including database speed, network speed, machine speed, etc.
Also, it is a good idea if you are loading templates to save each template
with the latest version of ReportBuilder. This way RB will not have to
convert each template to the newer version each time they are loaded.

The reports with multi 'pipeline' are very slowly.
It seems every page is processed twice. At least I have checked it using
events.

that can happen for a number of reasons including groups, keep together,
etc. but I haven't seen it drastically hurt performance.
