Information not displaying on print out

edited January 2007 in General
Hi
We are using ReportBuilder Pro 7.0.4 with Delphi 6 Professional Update Pack
2.
A client has reported that data near the bottom of reports are sometimes
left out from printouts. The data appears fine on the screen in preview
mode, but when sent to the printer, the information is just not there.
The user is using a Sharp Photocopier/Printer small business solution. The
client has tried printing the report to other printers with success and
distilling the report to PDF using ExtraDev for reportbuilder v 2.94 is also
fine.
Has anyone experiences similar issues?
Thanks
Dominic

    Hi Dominic,

As a test, try increasing the bottom margin of the report. If the margins
are set too small, they can sometimes fall outside certain printers'
unprintable area. In that case, report components will be ignored. Setting
the margin to a larger value can solve this problem. Also, there may be
some settings built into the specific printer driver your are using for this
printer that defines the margins or printable area on a piece of paper.
This also may be something worth investigating.
