How to stretch the detail band??

Hi..

I've placed a DBText on my detail band.DBText's autosize property is true
and it's 90 degrees rotated.Detail band's printheight property is
phDynamic...

I want my detail band to stretch as much as my DBText stretches in vertical
axis...

I thought setting the properties as mentioned above would do the job, but it
did not...

How can i achieve this?

Hi,

The DBText component is not a stretchable component so you will need to
manually alter the height to accomidate the size of an autosized vertical
text object. Below is an example I created that does this however while
creating this example I ran across a small bug which I was able to fix with
a patch. Please send an email to support@digital-metaphors.com requesting
the rotated text patch, install the patch, then download the example below
and take a look.
