PDF of ReportBuilder 10 versus PDFFile of ExtraDevice

Hello,
do you think, that the PDF Creating of RB 10 is faster as the PDF
Creating of ExtraDevice?

In RB 7.04 I've used the PDF Creating of ExtraDevice. But it is very,
very slow. On some computer it needs more than 20 seconds for one PDF
File (one or two pages). Is the PDF Creating of RB 10 faster?

Hi Bernhard,

I would suggest trying out both products side by side to find out the speed
difference. Although we have not extensively tested ExtraDevices, I do not
believe there is much difference in the generation speed. The RB PDF device
offers the ability to adjust the amount of compression used which can either
increase speed or decrease the file size depending on how much compression
you use.

Now I've tested it. Extra Device was so slow with RB 7.04. With RB 10 it
is fast with DeviceType='RTF' and 'RTFFile'.
