BMP Images appear/disappear (black box) during a print from the same report

Hi,

When printing a report multiple times (Issuing a Report.Print in a loop) BMP
files sometimes appear correctly on the printer or get printed as a black
box on the printer. Print preview is always correct. We are using Delphi 5
and RB 7.x. If this was printer driver related it always should appear as a
black box. Transparent is set to false, toggling directdraw doesnt help.

Hi Filip,

Which exact version of ReportBuilder are you using? There was a fix for
this bug in RB 7.04 that solved the issue of black images in most cases. If
you have a later version of Delphi, you might try downloading a trial
version of RB 10.04 and testing with that. We have had no reports of this
issue after the release of RB 9.

Be sure you have ppJPEG added to your uses clause.

When i convert the same BMP to JPG format and use the JPG image in the
report the problem seems to go away???
