HP Color Laser 3800N prints black

Hi,
Our app uses RB 7.04 with Delphi 7
One customer has the above printer, and can see a report print to screen
with various font colors correctly. However, the report prints all black on
paper.
Any work-arounds available?

Hi Lloyd,

This is not a known issue with ReportBuilder. ReportBuilder does not
communicate directly with the printer. It uses generic calls to the Windows
API which in turn need to be recognized by the printer driver.

ReportBuilder <==> Windows API <==> Printer Driver <==> Printer

Be sure your customer is using the latest version of the printer driver for
their printer. Also be sure there is not a default setting in the driver
software causing the black and white printing. You might also try
downloading a trial version of RB 10.05 for Delphi 7 and testing with that.
